SMM Analysis: Monthly Review of the Titanium Market: Raw Material Prices Fluctuate at Highs, Titanium Dioxide Prices Continue to Rise. Currently, the quotation for sulfuric acid process rutile titanium dioxide is 14,200-15,000 yuan per mt, while the quotation for anatase titanium dioxide is 12,800-13,500 yuan per mt.

Currently, the price of rutile titanium dioxide produced by the sulphuric acid method is quoted at 14,200-15,000 yuan/mt, while the price of anatase titanium dioxide is quoted at 12,800-13,500 yuan/mt.

Due to the continuous rise in raw material costs, titanium dioxide producers are facing significant production pressure, and the price of new orders has generally increased by 500 yuan/mt. However, the downstream market performed below expectations in Q1, and the export market was affected by anti-dumping measures. The resistance for foreign trade orders in April increased, and the inventory in the titanium dioxide market remains high, making it difficult to implement the price of new orders.
